Achilles Accreditation

We are now Achilles accredited!

By creating a single process where buyers can find qualified partners, and suppliers can prove their credentials, Achilles make doing business easier for everyone.

Achilles don’t just collect the data buyers need to make fully-informed decisions – they rigorously scrutinise it to help them identify and eliminate risk.

Risk doesn’t end with procurement – and Achilles work to help the suppliers meet their customers’ needs, adhere to compliance standards and strengthen their relationships.

Achilles’ suppliers use their communities to become visible for new tender opportunities, knowing they’re already prequalified in the eyes of the buyers.

Our aim is to continue to provide up-to-date information on our civil contracting milestones and events, agricultural updates and anything in between that occurs on a daily basis. Instagram provides this platform in the form of images, making things clearer to understand.

All that remains to be said is please give us a follow!

Kingston Maurward College Visit

Students from Kingston Maurward College Level 3 Agriculture course recently visited our yard and were given a talk by our Director, Rob Bartlett. The students were shown lots of equipment such as balers, rakes, mowers and even our self propelled trencher - as well as both of our forage harvesters and Terragator. Rob expressed to the students the need for highly trained operatives with a solid farming knowledge to work alongside farmers in a business and indeed industry that needed to be efficient, safe and environmentally sensitive to succeed.

We hope the college students enjoyed their visit, it was a pleasure to welcome them to our yard.

Fair trade for dairy and livestock farmers

Bartlett Contractors Ltd fully support the efforts being made to raise public awareness of the low costs paid to dairy farmers for the production of milk, and the huge profit margins supermarkets make. Milk prices in the UK are already at their lowest level since 2007. Some farmers are receiving as little as 19p a litre

We ask for your support in the way of donations to enable a group of 35 people and counting, to complete trolley dashes in supermarkets across the South
Your donation will help pay the £750 - £1,000 bill to clear a supermarket of milk
